The College of Information and Communications Technology traces back its rich heritage from the College of Industrial Technology of the then Bulacan College of Arts and Trade.

History of CICT

As Institute of Computer Education, the seven sections of Bachelor in Industrial major in Computer Technology were turned over to the Institute from the College of Industrial Technology.

Additional rooms were acquired for the Institute. The Jewellery-Making Shops in the first floor of the Integrated Building were vacated in order to be used as Digital Electronic laboratory rooms. Society for the Welfare of Information Technology Students

is a student organization founded on 2001 at the BULSU college of information and communications technology. The organization is considered as one of the best student organizations from Bulacan State University awarded by the Office of Student Organizations. SWITS centralize its goals according to the needs of an IT student, and align its activities according to their passion. With this in thought, SWITS became recognized and their projects were considered anticipated annually. These activities include IT Congress, IT Week, Enablement Seminars, IT Mentorship, and more.
