The BulSU Student Government organized “Salubong: Balik Pamantasan 2023“-themed Daungan Campus Tour for the Freshmen of College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT) and College of Social Science and Philosophy (CSSP) which kicked off on August 14, 2023 at 9:30 am, beginning from the Activity Center.
At 7:30 in the morning, the freshmen of CICT and CSSP gathered and queued in front of the Activity Center. The Local Student Council (LSC) of each college introduced the tour guides before the program proceeded to the systematic exit from the Activity Center to the Pimentel Hall of CICT, and then progressed to the College of Law building.
In line with the event, booths for university and college-wide organizations that are open for membership, amusement, and souvenirs such as the Debate Society, BULSU Bahaghari, National Service Reserve Corps, Youth on the Rock, Elevate BULSU, and Youth for the Nation lined along the lover’s lane near the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) and E-Library buildings.
The route approached the Carpio,Roxas, Federizo, and Flores Halls where the guides provided a brief history and the students occupying the said building. At the end of the tour, the freshmen were guided towards Valencia Hall, wherein most events of the university are held before concluding in the Mendoza Hall of BulSUโs CSSP population.
