As the CICT DAYS 2022 opened its curtains today, Stackleague launched their webinar entitled โStackleague University Series: BulSU Editionโ today, April 25, 2022, at 10 AM via live stream on YouTube.
The program started with the opening remarks and an overview of Stack League. It was followed by the first resource speaker, Zildjan Dames, an Experiential Lead from Microsoft Philippines.
Dames discussed cloud computing. He talked about key points about cloud computing: set-ups, benefits, and cloud deployment models and personas. Dames pointed out that cloud computing was now the new normal in the business world as the pandemic kicked in. He also provided an overview of Microsoft Azure.
Jed Gonzales, the second speaker, introduced the ABCs of Cryptocurrency. He discussed the A, which is all about cryptocurrency, the history of how it started, and its status nowadays. B means blockchain, wherein he discussed the subject with help of graphical materials. He also added some key points and keywords related to blockchain. Finally, he proceeded to C, which is the challenge and problems that cryptocurrency and blockchain are facing and how they could be solved.
As the speaker concluded the discussion, a few questions from the BulSU students in the comments section were answered. It also served as the end of the event.
